Jesse's signature offering and most popular service is an interactive stage show combining mind-reading demonstrations, audience participation, and optional speaking messages that tie to your event theme. Unlike traditional magic where audiences watch passively, everyone in the room participates from where they're seated. This total audience involvement creates engagement and makes the experience memorable for all attendees, not just a few volunteers.

Corporate clients book Jesse for a variety of events including awards dinners, holiday parties, sales kickoffs, conference general sessions, client appreciation events, and executive retreats. Jesse performs when the audience is seated and attentive, but never while guests are eating.

Jesse entertains 2-8 attendees at a time, up close, with highly personalized entertainment for 5-15 minutes. Then he proceeds to entertain the next small group, continuing this process with small groups throughout the event. It is frequently booked at receptions and cocktail hours.

Jesse offers two team building programs:

1. Full Team Building Experience (2.5 hours, up to 20 people) - This comprehensive program is packed with team building exercises and collaborative activities. Groups break into smaller teams, then those teams interact with each other through structured challenges. This program is designed for corporate retreats seeking intensive team development.

2. Team Building + Entertainment Hybrid (shorter format, for groups of more than 20 people) - This program combines interactive mentalism with a speaking message about the power of words to connect people, followed by a collaborative exercise where teams work together to plan a fictional vacation. This format works for events with tighter time constraints.

Both programs emphasize group participation and interaction, but they are distinct from Jesse's pure entertainment stage shows.

  • After demonstrations of mentalism that appear to influence thought, he has a message about how changing just a couple of words can transform connection with others .
  • Jesse speaks about the staggering improbability of the each combination of audience members coming together. It puts in perspective that the present moment is special and unlikely to ever happen again.

  • Stage Show: The length of the show is adjustable, but a common duration is 1 hour. For smaller audiences (under 1 hour) the show may run slightly under 1 hour.   • Walk-Around at Cocktail Hours & Receptions: The number of minutes the walk-around entertainment can lasts, is approximately equal to the number of people at an event.

If you have a meeting with a committee or a boss to seek approval from, you may want a price you can point to on a screen. You may also want, in writing, an explanation of the service for that price.   • The most common format for a proposal in the corporate world is PDF format. The text in PDF files does not scale well on mobile. It is small and difficult to read.
  • Videos are the best online resources for understanding live entertainment and team building. PDF format proposals can not embed a video from third-party video hosts such as a Vimeo or YouTube. PDF proposals require storing a video as part of the document itself, which dramatically inflates the size of the file. Most email providers do not allow attachments that large.
  • The standard orientation of a proposal is "portrait," which is a tall and narrow rectangle. A desktop or laptop computer screen is a wide rectangle. When a tall, narrow rectangle (standard proposal) is placed inside of a wide rectangle (desktop/laptop screen), it is not an optimal fit. A better alternative to using a standard PDF proposal is a web page. A web page can be responsive, which means it automatically resizes to fit the screen it is viewed on.

  • Jesse's interactive stage show is approximately $5,000 for the non-custom version. Customization can be added for more money.
  • The standard fee for the walk-around version at receptions & cocktail hours is usually $2,500 for 90-120 minutes, but varies based on the event.
  • The team building programs are usually $1,600-5,000, but it depends on group size and which team building program is purchased.
  • These are all just ballpark numbers to get a very rough idea. A consultation is needed to determine the cost for a specific event. Use this form to initiate a consultation.
  • Quotes directly from Jesse are all-inclusive, meaning there is a single fee. If you go through an agency or other third-party company to book Jesse, that company may treat the "appearance fee" and "travel buyout" as separate fees.

Policy & Process

The first step is to use his main contact form. If the event is a fit, a 50% retainer and electronic contract are required to secure the calendar date against other booking inquiries. The remaining 50% balance is due any time before the service begins.

If Jesse gets really sick and is forced to cancel, he will refund the client the deposited money in full. If the client wants Jesse to find a replacement after a cancelation, Jesse will make a good faith effort to find a replacement. All money is stored in separate accounts and never spent until after his services are delivered.

Yes. Jesse actually loves last-minute bookings! As long as there is availability, enough time to prepare supplies, and enough time to travel to the event. Sometimes, Jesse has extra supplies prepared and waiting just for these situations. Use this contact form to inquire about booking Jesse.

There's no policy that says you must book by a specific deadline. Instead, everything is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Generally, you can take as long as you want, but if someone else submits a 50% retainer first, the calendar date will no longer be available. You can check Jesse's availability using Jesse's main contact form here.

Transparency is important to us. We have to be honest that you should never book the calendar date if your event date is uncertain. This is because Jesse has to turn down other offers to honor your calendar date, and he may already be booked on calendar date you reschedule to.

Recently, there was a power outage and a company that booked Jesse canceled. Jesse understood this cancelation was out of the client's control, so he was willing to credit the money towards a different calendar date. However, this only worked because the client ensured the rescheduled calendar date matched Jesse's availability. Rescheduling is never supposed to be part of an intentional booking plan.

Payments are non-refundable unless Jesse cancels, which would only happen by Act of God. If Jesse misses an event for any reason, you will be refunded in full. Jesse has never canceled an event for a higher-paying offer or more career-advancing opportunity. If you cancel the event before paying the full amount, the full amount is still due.

When Jesse is hired for events, it is extremely common for a stage show to start late. This is because dinner and speeches often run overtime. Jesse typically accommodates these situations by staying longer without charging extra. However, the only way to be certain is to discuss your concerns during the booking process and confirm flexibility.

A quote directly from Jesse includes any possible hotel stays. You only pay one fee and you do not need to worry about coordinating a hotel for him.

Seating Arrangement

Theater-style seating is most optimal, but most events have "rounds of 8" (rounded tables). It is understood that this can be very challenging for event organizers to change, so Jesse adapts. With that said, there are a few tips that help.

  1. You don't want podiums or objects obstructing the view of the stage area.
  2. It is not recommended to have people seated behind the stage or directly to the side of the stage.

3. Avoid empty space that spreads the audience out far.

If you have A/V staff, Jesse has a Technical Rider for them to follow. For local events, he can supply a combination of audio equipment from brands such as Sennheiser, Shure, Countryman, and Bose.

Stage/Presentation Area

Yes. He uses a table that is 6 feet wide, often referred to as a "6-footer."
