Magician for a College Reunion at the University of Pennsylvania

In May 2025, the University of Pennsylvania's Development & Alumni Relations office booked Jesse Dameron for the Class of 2015's 10th Reunion Party during Penn's Alumni Weekend — reception-style roaming magic on Penn's campus in Philadelphia.

  • Other entertainment: A DJ and an emcee were also part of the event
  • Emcee announcement: At the Classes & Reunions office's request, Jesse provided a short script for the DJ/emcee to read, letting guests know a magician would be roaming the party
  • Pre-event planning: A scheduled conference call with Penn's Alumni Relations and Classes & Reunions staff, so performance details could be relayed to the reunion class committee ahead of the party
  • Customization: On that call, the Classes & Reunions office asked for material that would get alumni remembering their old classmates — so the routines were adapted to prompt guests to reflect on their campus memories from their student days
  • Procurement: Completed the University of Pennsylvania's formal supplier registration process before the event

Referral After the Event

Months after the reunion, Penn's Classes & Reunions office recommended Jesse by name to a Philadelphia organization that was planning its year-end celebration. The recommendation came unprompted from the university staff who ran entertainment for the reunion.
