Jesse is best known for performing at cocktail hours, hospitality suites and receptions at hotels in Center City Philadelphia. This time he was about 50 miles north, in a Bethlehem hotel ballroom. He was performing for the company behind the South Philly Cheesesteaks & Fries stand in Wind Creek’s food court.

The hotel gave Jesse access to the Moravian Ballroom long before the show. According to the client, the room was empty from 12:30 PM that day. That left plenty of buffer time to set up performance supplies well ahead of the 9:00 PM start. With setup done early, Jesse was free to walk around the hotel and casino before showtime.

The Show

The show was performed on the flat floor at the front of the Moravian Ballroom, with guests seated at round banquet tables. Villa Restaurant Group’s slides introduced Jesse by name on both projection screens. Banners for Villa Restaurant Group’s own restaurant brands lined the front wall. Attendees were invited up to take part in routines alongside Jesse.

Jesse’s favorite parts of the event were the audience’s involvement in a celebrity prediction routine, and the time after the show, when several of Villa Restaurant Group’s executives and leaders stayed to chat with him. Earlier in the day, the hotel’s early access had given him time to roam and enjoy the property between setup and the performance.
