A Philadelphia Magician at Swann Memorial Fountain

Standing beside the figures of Swann Memorial Fountain, I was reminded that mystery does not begin with a trick. Sometimes it begins with place, history, water, stone, and the feeling that a city is older and stranger than it first appears.

The fountain’s figures represent the Delaware River, the Schuylkill River, and Wissahickon Creek - three waterways woven into the identity of Philadelphia.

That same sense of atmosphere is part of what I try to bring to private events, corporate gatherings, and intimate performances as a Philadelphia magician.
